Some basic metrics, stats and informations are easily calculated from BIOM or tabular data, and a nice to have for information/completeness or verification.
These can be give to the user as part of the verification under processing, as an optional report (at the download page) and/or included as an automatic (optional) paragraph in the metadata (as the taxonomic and geographic scope in the IPT).
Report could be just written or graphic or both.
