It is currently hosted on a DiGIR installation and is one of the datasets cited in this issue: https://github.com/gbif/portal-feedback/issues/1661.
dataset: British Antarctic Survey Argos satellite tracking data (https://www.gbif.org/dataset/7c12e4d6-f762-11e1-a439-00145eb45e9a) organisation: British Antarctic Survey (https://www.gbif.org/publisher/94458240-4e38-11db-985b-b8a03c50a862)
Wondering if this might be a place for OBIS and GBIF to work together. I see it's also an orphaned dataset for OBIS as well. @Antonarctica do you know about this dataset and publisher? Are you planning to give it a new home? Might also serve as a good use case for the biologging group https://github.com/tdwg/dwc-for-biologging.
Tracking data without organism IDs
I guess there is nothing wrong in it not being there, but it would be nice. Many of them seem to be the same organism, but there is nothing in the data telling us so. At least not that I see. Perhaps the publisher has the data?
These for example look like the same:
