Sphaerechinus granularis is not present in Costa Rica. #1841

Sphaerechinus granularis is not present in Costa Rica.

This species inhabits the Western Atlantic Coast, from the English Channel to the Canary Islands (possibly in Guinea's Gulf). Possibly, the person is referring to Toxopneustes roseus, from the same family (Toxopneustidae).
