DNA Accession Code: how to link from treatments with accession numbers included? #1939

Following Dimitri's talk in the Webinar and an upload of an article this morning including a DNA accession number https://www.gbif.org/species/157062880
image there is another chance to link DNA data to observation records and treatments.

Do you have any idea from your side how this could be handeled so this becomes active?

We actually discover this numbers and could annotate them. So the question might be how to integrate this in the DWCA?

Any ideas?

We would like to support your effort to link molecular and observation data. This is an effort we were involved for many years by submitting every night a file with new taxa to allow NCBI to outlink their taxonomy to these treatments.

Yes. Create a hyperlink to the GenBank nuccore page https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/DQ663442:

<a href="https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/DQ663442">DQ663442</a>

I dont know if there may be a delay in the GenBank indexing or something, but I would have expected to see the sequence from https://www.gbif.org/species/157062880 here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/MK463853
