Only a small fraction of WIN photos are visible on GBIF gallery. #2257

Only a small fraction of WIN photos are visible on GBIF gallery.

While there are over 17,000 occurrences in University of Manitoba Herbarium (WIN) - Vascular Plant Collection that contain URL’s that link to images, there are only 59 occurrences with images in the gallery on GBIF and they are all ferns. (For an example, see Original “Associated Media” field for Catalogue Number 81119 where there is no visible photo. Catalogue Number 74233 has a photo). Can you please look into this/explain why this is so? Perhaps there is something we could do differently. Thanks, Diana Sawatzky Assistant Curator WIN Herbarium

I suspect the spaces in the URLs, but I will have to check.
