Identification unlikely - Commiphora cuspidata Chiov.

One of users suspects that the specimens here aren't actually Commiphora cuspidata Chiov (which is a synonym of Commiphora myrrha) for two main reasons:

  1. The images don't look like C. myrrha (the user sent us some pictures of C. myrrha which I will forward to the publisher) and here is a specimen that looks like what would be expected: https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/912181408.
  2. C. myrrha doesn't occur in Madagascar.

Our user suspects that the specimens could be another species like C. tertamera like shown on the label of some specimens (https://www.gbif.org/occurrence/438620353)
