It seems the "Taxon identifiers" at the bottom of the GBIF species page are not taking author names into account which will lead to critical errors if there are multiple species with the same name.

Parts of the species website is simply citing other resources. For example the IUCN status is simply asking the IUCN APIs for information. Similar for the identifiers - they come from wikidata (notice that it reference the source in the section).

The good thing about Wikidata is that you can correct any errors you see. We simply ask Wikidata for that information. The wikidata community curates it.

Since we are in close collaboration with CoL it might make sense to maintain that link ourselves, but for now that is not something CoL nor GBIFS have tried to push into Wikidata.

There are multiple species with the same name but different authors.

But the Wikidata is not incorrect, there is a species with that author, it is also on gbif (https://www.gbif.org/species/7586130) but not linked. The Wikidata webpage for species/3034084 does not exist and I don't know how to make it sorry.

I do not know much about Wikidata either, but I assume it is just to click the edit button on e.g. the GBID identifier. I must admit I do not know how Wikidata deals with synonyms and such.
