Layering maps/datasets

I would like to layer the Animalia and Plantae data in the same map in "Classic points" or "Glacier" view. Is that possible? Thank you in advance for your help.

User contacted. I guess this is part of the idea for a map toolbox, where GBIF and non-GBIF layers could be combined. At first, documenting how to use QGis could be useful.

I've combined the two layers here: http://labs.gbif.org/~mblissett/2017/09/animals-and-plants/
