incorrect georeferencing

The current coordinates place the occurrence in the middle of Hudson Bay, Canada. The descriptive location information makes it clear that this should be located in Kentucky, specifically at "Licking River, above dam at Falmouth". I haven't been able to find any information on this dam, so I'm not sure if it's been removed, or too small to appear in databases.

I have written rosenberg.ansp@drexel.edu to ask for help revising this occurrence.

@sformel-usgs This location is already flagged as Country coordinate mismatch, so it is default filtered for most downloads.

@jhnwllr Thank you for pointing that out, I hadn't thought about that, and it's useful to know.

Gary Rosenberg responded:

It looks like we incorrectly had “58” instead of “38” in the coordinates. I fixed it in that record and five others internally.

I'm waiting to hear back from him when these will be pushed to GBIF and would like to keep this open until we see them updated.

@sformel-usgs it is still a good idea to contact the publisher of course. Sorry I was just pointing out that GBIF removes such points, so it might be considered sort of low priority.

GBIF removes common geospatial issues by default if you choose to have data with a location.

The following things will be removed:

Zero coordinate : Coordinates are exactly (0,0).
Country coordinate mismatch : The coordinates fall outside of the given country’s polygon.
Coordinate invalid : GBIF is unable to interpret the coordiantes.
Coordinate out of range : The coordinates are outside of the range for decimal lat/lon values ((-90,90), (-180,180)).

@jhnwllr The data have been updated and this issue can be closed when you have a moment.
