Specify Collections Consortium page

Hi

We are trying to determine who currently has access to editing the following page - https://www.gbif.org/participant/381#nodeAddress - and how we can add additional people to this access. We are also interested in learning how we can add publishers and datasets to this page that are using Specify software.

Hi @acbentley, all Participant pages in GBIF are managed through the GBIF directory, which is administered centrally. I will let Anne Mette know. Could you send an email to helpdesk or info @gbif.org, detailing the changes/additions required, please?

The display of publishers and datasets is based on publisher endorsement through a Participant. At present, there is no other connection. We have an open issue about improving the representation of hosting institutions (https://github.com/gbif/portal-feedback/issues/1382), but this would still not go to the level of installation (and particular software) types. I wonder whether a hosted portal that represents the Specify contribution might help?

Will discuss with Specify folks but I think a hosted portal is what we are looking for. Am I correct in assuming that we would be able to add Specify collections publishing to GBIF to that page ourselves and would have editorial freedom to edit the page itself? I note that e also have these two pages https://www.gbif.org/tool/81465/specify-6 and https://www.gbif.org/tool/7klSM5htvcvNLdbsLurT6f/specify-7 which we will likely want to update too and will feed through updates to the email addresses provided.
