Notable changes #409

Would it be useful to have a service/UI that provided a list of notable changes during the last day/week? I'm asking because it regularly happens that we get the question: "where did those 5million record growth come from?"

@kcopas and @dnoesgaard I guess you would be the main consumers? Is it worth developing such a service and what should it do more specifically to be of use?

Possibly, if it's super annoying to get these questions. However, it's really only necessary when the spikes or drops come from updates to existing datasets. GBIF Dodo does well at keeping us current on bumps from new items.

It isn't annoying. But I do not think any of us really know the answer, at least when I have been asked I have just looked semi randomly until I found a decent answer. @MattBlissett how do you go about answering this question when asked?

I look at the largest dataset ingested since yesterday and then look at their history. Which isn't exactly a robust method
