Can we get a csv of number of observations by kingdom and year added?
Providing more granular data, such as in https://www.gbif.org/api/occurrence/breakdown API, would be helpful. We would for example like to create our own dashboard for our GBIF node, update our progress slides automatically etc...
Would it be possible to enable CORS for the internal API? Even if unstable, it could still be valuable for certain users.

The data in that internal use endpoint is based on public APIs. It just adds translations and reformats it slightly to make it easier for the frontend to use it. It is unlikely to live long (will disappear without notice within a year).
If we as a community need easier ways to add charts/dashboards to other sites, then perhaps we should focus on building examples catalogues and/or stable endpoints or even iframes or exported svgs/pngs. Something more stable that serves the purpose better. Perhaps as a separate issue on portal-feedback?
We are also very interested to use this API route that would require to enable CORS.
