Create an XML document that names the services supported. Each service tag
should have one or more child tags indicating the executables to launch
when starting that service (until one succeeds). Each executable should
have one or more child tags indicating arguments to pass it when launching.
The registry serves as a basic way of controlling what the extension is
running on the user's machine. It also allows the same file to provide more
than one service.
How to make this easy extension so others can provide new services while
maintaining some reasonable level of security is an open question.
