Becuase we are targeting any devices from the 1985 - 2004 era when 32 bit first existed in x86,

Add:

USB 1.0 and 1.1 support
- The USB 1.0 specification was released in January 1996)
- the USB 1.1 specification in August 1998
Implement HID 1.0 support
- the HID spec was ratified by the USB-IF (USB Implementers Forum) in 1996.
- the HID 1.0 specification was released in June 2000
- The HID 1.11 specification was released on June 27, 2001
