The user profile at /profile has several buttons below the profile pic/avatar including like, follow, message, edit profile, share, etc.
Edit profile should bring up a modal with a form to allow logged in user to edit their profile easy
Message should bring up something to allow users to communicate with each other either through a chat or a email like editor.
Follow/Like/Favorite/Subscribe tywould allow users to subscribe to other users events in the app in a social like manner
