new ps3 firmware 2.80 is said to block the open remote play

They said the new sony blocked in the new 2.80 software remote play,
can this be confirmed somehow? Will you try to make it work again?

Yup... It does.  I have already found a work-around, which is posted at the 
bottom of
the FAQ:
