Unable to find libntfs-3g

I am attempting to install the plugin on Ubuntu 22.04. The initial installation steps as provided work fine, however running ./configure produces the following output:

I am fairly certain I have the requisite packages already installed, any idea what might be going wrong here? One thing I did notice is that running

dpkg -l | grep ntfs-3g

produces
