At the Wellington PMG, ISO 19144-2 was confirmed following its systematic review. However, there is renewed interest in land cover work and also in a land use standard which may lead/contribute to work on this topic and may lead to name change (e.g. including SDG). Presentations at the Standards in Action workshop in Copenhagen will provide further information on this. Stage zero project on land cover / land use initiated (N4911). Replaced by new issue on classification systems, which originated from the work on the stage zero project (preparatory work) on land use and land cover.
