WG10: Interoperability with IFC for Rail, Roads, Bridges, Buildings, etc. #133

Justification: BIM is rapidly going into infrastructure area. IFC for Rail, Roads, Bridges etc. has geospatial component in it. We need to look into interoperability issues in terms of GIS-BIM integration. Proposal: New request

WG 10 is investigating possible work related to geographic information aspects in IFC. Any standards development could be done in WG 10 of ISO/TC 211 or in ISO/TC 59/SC 13/JWG 14 Joint ISO/TC 59/SC 13 - ISO/TC 211 WG: GIS-BIM interoperability.
