If a user has not saved themselves, a solid heart will be
displayed beneath the center label in the top bar. Once they use
their 1 life to save themselves, the heart will turn hollow to
indicate they don't have another life.
I also forgot to commit the 1.3.1 version string update in its own
commit so I'm doing it here.
