Unclear phrasing for 'code' in 2.4 Error Response #5

The following phrase in 2.4 Error Response is hard to understand:

The code field is REQUIRED with request parameter suppress_response_codes but it SHOULD be omitted with PAIA auth requests to not confuse OAuth clients.

I understand:

The code field is REQUIRED with request parameter suppress_response_codes in PAIA core. It SHOULD be omitted with PAIA auth requests to not confuse OAuth clients.
