Package Dependencies not available in OpenSuse 13.1 repositories - Environment Detection Failed #51

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install OpenSuse 13.1
2. Install Packman repository
3. Attempt to install dependencies

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Not found includes:
* gtk2-engines-pixbuf
* librsvg2-common -- though librsvg2 was available
* python-gtk2
* python-mlt5(or 4,3) -- though python-mlt was available
* python-support
* python-gnome2

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 0.10.0 on OpenSuse 13.1

Please provide any additional information below.

Flowblade worked beautifully in OpenSuse 12.3

Now, rendering is broke, and on startup the following error message appears:
"Environment detection failed!

You will probably be presented with filters, transitions and rendering options
that are not available on your system.

---
You may experience sudden crashes when adding filters or attempting rendering.

Your MLT Version is 0.9.0
Only report this as a bug if the MLT version above is >= 0.7.6"

Okay, thanks for the info. I'm a bit pressed for time before Christmes but I'll
try to install OpenSuse on Virtualbox and see what is the problem. Damn.
