Transition rendering glitch #72

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
I have a FullHD clip which I split in two and use different filters in them. I
then select both of them and click transition button, select dissolve with
default parameters.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output would be a dissolve transition from one to other. The effect is
there but some kind of misalignment happens, The transition happens at the top
part of the image, bottom is repeated.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.12.0 tar.gz on ubuntu 14.04

Please provide any additional information below.
I have attached images to illustrate the problem, what I'm trying transition
from (first_clip) and to (second_clip) and about the problem that happens in
between (dissolve).

For me, it seems as though the transition just stops halfway through, i.e. the
second half of the transition is just a freeze-frame halfway through the
dissolve. Not sure if you're describing the same.

#1 I don't get that, the fade in itself is smooth, but when the transition
starts the picture "jumps" up and when it's over it "jumps" down.
