Request: add a key combination to close a tab

With MLB the numpad is all I need to browse most sites. I use a laptop(w/o
numbad) and so I've got a USB numpad just for MLB
I open a lot tabs (and the + post fix is gr8). But i come to closing tab
I've to use the mouse or the standard keybord ctrl + W 

So i suggest adding a close tab key
some options I can think or are 
eg we have 7 tabs open 
to close tab 5 we type 05 then postfix - (or even +)
to close the current tab 00 then postfix - 
OR any key combination you think would be more suitable (as long as it uses
the numpad)

Also, there should be a option to open a link in new tab and then focus
that tab I suggest you add postfix key ++ for this 
so if type 48++, it opens the link in a new tab and the focuses on the tab.

I would like to be able to configure my own combination such 1 or Del on the 
numeric
keypad to close the current tab. Using ctrl-w feels awkward and RSI-ish

I see that someone else has asked for this feature. I'm eager to have this one 
too :) Personally I would prefer modifier key for it (makes it easier to close 
multiple tabs in a row). Thanks!
