Wiimote LED Flasher's source should make things faster

The source is not really needed. It's not a big deal to add this. I just don't
see a point in it.
I'll think about it. Also provide exact information on where it should be. Like
for example after a finished paste process (successfull or failed), i need that
full detailed and not just copy/cut/paste. Same goes for the disc slot crap. I
don't want to wrap my head around such useless crap especially since i don't
need it.

this would be cool... while copy/pasting or cut/pasting or deleting or updating
or downloading lang files or mounting disc

I second this. So I can watch TV knowing that WiiXplorer is still copying the
files from the SMB to the SD Card. When stops blinking I can swicth to Wii
again.

Yeah that's a cool feature, but just like every other enhancement, IT'S NO HURRY

This is most useful for any events that will take a good deal of time:
copy/pasting files, updating the app, and possibly other online events.
The Wiimote LEDs would definitely be great as status indicators: ping-pong
style or as a progress indicator. I doubt anyone wants to use the disc slot as
a status indicator, but I do see another use: the slot could go on/blinking for
a N seconds when an event is complete (perhaps even differently for
success/failure). Since the Wii is often placed near a TV, this would make it
abundantly clear when an event completes--and thereby no longer require
repeated checking of the screen (or even the LEDs).
So, the options dialog might look like (defaults after ##)
Use Wiimote LEDs As Status Indicators [Checkbox] ## Off
-Use ping-pong style lights during operation [Radiobox] ## On
-Use lights as progress (%complete) indicators [Radiobox] ## Off
--Blink the progress lights every (milliseconds) [Text Input] ## 1000
--Blink the progress lights duration on (milliseconds) [Text Input] ## 500
Use Disc Slot Light to indicate when an Operation Completes [Checkbox] ## Off
-Use Disc Slot Light for duration (seconds; 0 for leave on until activity)
[Text Input] ## 0
-Turn Disc Slot Light Full-On [Radiobox] ## Off (note: still uses above
duration)
-Blink the Disc Slot Light [Radiobox] ## On (note: still uses above duration)
--Blink the Disc Slot Light every (milliseconds) [Text Input] ## 1000
--Blink the Disc Slot Light duration on (milliseconds) [Text Input] ## 500
-Blink the Disc Slot Light differently when the event fails [Checkbox] ## On
--Blink the Disc Slot Light every (milliseconds) [Text Input] ## 5000
--Blink the Disc Slot Light duration on (milliseconds) [Text Input] ## 3000
In the above, "activity" would be defined as any click event--not just moving
the Wiimote around. Also, the dashed items would of course be dependent on the
enabling of the item above, so could be greyed out unless the main item is
enabled. Also: one could have implemented the blinking in a "duration
off/duration on" method, but I think the options above will be less confusing
to the user. A check to see that the "duration on" is less than or equal to the
frequency ("every") might be a good idea.
I realize you were looking more for "when" to flash than an outline of "how" to
flash, but I hope this helps outline the usefulness of the feature. Thank you
for your time.
