[Enchancement] SMB Server - Accessible SMB Shares from PC #399

SMB the other way would be great!

So you don't need a SMB release on every PC, if the SD/USB HD of the Wii would 
have such a SMB release ...

By the way: wiixplorer is a GREAT app, but it's ftp is a pain in the ass! I 
have in none other app problems with my network except of ftp in wiixplorer ...

The ftp is a pain because of the cIOS and IOS crap. I can't do anything about 
it.

I am not sure what you are talking about with the SMB thing. Please explain it 
better.

I mean if there is SMB enabled on the Wii side so you can access your SD and 
USB HD from your PC - not always the other way that the Wii is the client.

Oh that's SMB Server. No that's too much work and i don't have time for that.

Hoffe http://members.inode.at/anton.zechner/az/AzSmb.htm hilft vielleicht 
weiter; da ist TinySmb, ein minimaler SMB-Server für Linux, dabei. Vielleicht 
läßt sich das irgendwie integrieren ohne all zuviel Zeit und Arbeit zu 
erforden. Wäre wirklich eine prima Sache!

Oha. Hätte nicht gedachtm, dass es sowas gibt und auch noch open source.

That's a great starting point. Maybe i really will do this later. I'll look 
into the source when i find some time.

Ok just to inform you TinySMB will not work. It requires the full AzSMB source 
for the use of TinySMB.

I would have to use the whole huge AzSMB source and only leave out a few parts. 
It would also require a rewrite of several parts of the whole source. So it 
would still be a lot of work but i might still do it if i find the time. You 
can have hopes :P.

An Idea for when you get around to it,
Is if it does take alot of space, you could make it an optional Add-on. So 
people who want to use it can Download the extra files and Enable it in 
WiiXplorer's Settings.

i wanna smb server, and did a mention addons? if you add add ons, you will have

Because this thread is sleeping more than a year, I'll ask for a state.

This idea is great and you're making a great job with wiixplorer.
