I updated to r207 today, but with this release I didn't come across this
error... Neither with IOS 58 nor 202. So I guess it's fixed.
But now, I got a code dump when i clicked "reload" in the Start Menu.

I heard that from several people now. Though I could not reproduce it. I'll
take a look into it later.

I have been prompted to update from R207 to R208. Downlaod goes ok but when it
reboots it hangs.
Also if i go to the homebrew channel and I try to open WiiExplorer R208 it
freezes.
The is no dump code or anything helpful in the screen.
The omly thing I can do is to reinstall R207.dol.
Thank you very much for your efforts.

Did you try to maunally download the file and put it on SD/USB?
It works fine for me.

I downloaded r208 with auto-update and manually. Neither worked. I tried
launching it from the HBC v1.0.8 (IOS58) and through the v9 channel. Both
times I got a black screen and my Wii drive flashes over and over.
I didn't have this problem with 206 though.

Ok i understand the problem here. It is a cIOS issue. What IOS202 version with
what base do you have? Try installing v4, v5 or v5.1 if that's not the case.
If that doesn't help try uninstalling the IOS202 completely and that should
help for sure. But that is of course no solution. I would have to change it
back to old style if that happens or make IOS58 as default boot IOS for config
reading. Right now configs are read in IOS202 (if it is installed).

Solved: I have updated IOS222 V4 to V5.1 with Pimp my Wii but...
now Pimp My Wii hangs when detecting again the IOS.
Thank you very Much, WiiExplorer is a great application!

IOS222 has nothing to do with WiiXplorer. You probably updated IOS202 too in
the process and that solved it.

Ok, It was IOS 202, not IOS 222.
Thank you

Which IOS settings should I use for the Hermes installer?
I do not wanna undo other IOS customs that enable gc backups/USB speedup.

On another note,my wii does not show IOS 38 as a choice of implementation.

I intentionally installed IOS 38 and used IOS 202 to run IOS 222 installation
and put on IOS 38 (only choice) and Wiixplorer still will not work.

It doesnt matter what IOS you use for the installation of the IOS. It matters
which version you are installing. Try installing Hermes IOS202 v5.1 (not using
it in the installer) and deleting your config files of WiiXplorer from
everywhere (SD/USB). Than start WiiXplorer.

I tried both Installing IOS 202 on IOS 38 and deleting all config traces and it
still did not work (including deleting cfg files in data and language files).

Sorry for double post but which IOS should I install;202,222,223,or 224?

Like I said in my post above it's IOS202. This is not an usb loader or anything.
You need to install the proper version of it. If you don't it will not work. It
needs at least v4, v5 or v5.1 of Hermes IOS. Download of the installer is in
the download section of this site.
Anyway you guys should stop posting here because this issue has nothing to do
with the problems you guys have. This issue is about the "Reload" Button in the
StartMenu.

@svin83
I can't seem to get this problem. Can you try again on R209. If it still occurs
i'll give you a dol where i can trace the dump.

I crash when reloading (startmenu "Reload) on IOS202(5.1 hermes) but not on
IOS58
