USB mounting freezes app #517

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect FAT USB flash drive
2. Load app
OR
1. Load app with no USB device connected
2. Connect USB
3. Click SD icon to change device

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
App loading or bringing up device selector
Blank screen/freeze

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Wii Menu 4.3, app r214

Please provide any additional information below.
The only mod the Wii has is latest HBC, and with 4.3 I thought the USB2.0 
device would work. Do I need to install some other kinds of IOS or something?

Using Port 0, by the way.

This works fine in newer revisions
