It works very well. The empty window appears now instance and the load process
might not be "visible". Check the taskbar if there is a loading task for that.
The images do open. I opened a 3k x 2k image without a problem. It is not even
slower then before, it just runs more in the background now.

I dont understand. I can open any size image with the old version, but now,
they are not visible and I don't see anything happening in the taskbar. So
please explain.

Ok. Well I was using a SDXC 64GB Sandisk card formatted to Fat32 with 32kb
cluster. I don't know if this is causing the issue or not.
I'll try reformatting it after backing it up, and then I'll try my 32GB and 2GB
cards as well.

UPDATE: I just tried the 2GB Sandisk, and 32GB Sandisk, and 8GB USB Thumbdrive
Sandisk, and STILL am not able to view those images I mentioned.
HOWEVER, the older R212 still views the images with no problem.
Do you think its because I'm not using a USB HDD? Ether way, something is not
right, and I don't know what I need to convert these images to in order to be
viewable.

It doesnt matter from where you load the image. It is always treated the same
way. I don't know what you are doing wrong. Maybe you can make a video and
upload it somewhere, so I can see what you do??

All I'm doing to placing the picture on the root of my SD card, and then
plugging the SD card into my Wii, then opening WiiXplorer R245, and the when I
clicked on the photo, it only shows the toolbar for photo's, and nothing else.
Also, if I click on the "Play" button for photos, or click on the Right or Left
arrow, I immediately get a code dump and it takes 30 seconds to reload.
(however, I am able to view the little Homebrew channel icons)
Have you tried using an SD card? Maybe its an issue with Sandisk cards?

It's not. I used a Sandisk SD card, used the cover .jpg from your other report
and can view it fine from the root. Maybe you should try renaming or moving
your WiiXplorer.cfg file somewhere else (maybe something in your current config
that's getting in the way), let WiiXplorer create a new one on next launch and
see if any change. Or use the latest version 248 and see if any change there.

I did everything you said and none of it worked. And if I hit the next button
to pull up the next photo, I get a code dump. So this is most certainly an
issue.
Look, version R212 worked fine for everything except PDFs, so could you
possibly compile the new PDF reader with the old R212 and email it to me, or am
I asking too much?

I just recorded a video of the issue. PLEASE excuse the quality, but as you can
see, I open up the pic, and nothing shows other than the buttons and arrows.
Once I hit the arrow, I get a code dump as you can clearly see. I used this
cover here - http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?game_id=1082
I can try getting you a higher quality video, but I don't think its necessary,
you can probably see enough to know I'm not lying.
I guess I can use R212 for viewing photo's and R248 for viewing PDF's.

Well I really don't know what is wrong. Especially since you seem to be the
only person to have that kind of issue. Can you come to the IRC channel for
debuging? Then we could try a few test builds. We can try randomly change
things in the image viewer and maybe we will find something.

When you come to IRC it's way too late here. Try getting on a bit earlier if
you can.

Would it be possible that the problem is that I need a cIOS installed? I'm
currently missing 202 and 236 as far as I know. Do I need these?
Original comment by nintygaming

That should not matter. Especially if you are using an SD-card for the images.
Like I said, best way to find the bug is for you to come and contact me on IRC
when I am available. We could run a few test builds and see if they have a
different effect.
