The gafferpy library will be too much to maintenance if we need to update it to work with both Gaffer 1 and Gaffer 2. Instead it has been decided that fishbowl will be improved to have all the current features that gafferpy currently has and made to work with Gaffer 2. Therefore, for Gaffer 1 graph users should use gafferpy and for Gaffer 2 graphs, fishbowl should be used.
An updated version of fishbowl should be available to use at some point within the Gaffer 2 alpha process, before the full 2.0.0 release.
