Rubyripper should have the ability to rip multiple tracks as a single file, not
just the entire disk. This would be a useful feature when rippig some audio
books, radio dramas, classical albums, and a smattering of other albums where
multiple tracks actually correspond to a single logical element (for example,
an episode of a radio drama, or the live portion of an album that contains a
concert plus some additional studio tracks). So far iTunes is the only ripping
software I've encountered that has this functionality (I believe it's called
"join tracks"), so its addition would really help to further distinguish an
already excellent piece of software.
Note that cdparanoia already supports this, e.g., "cdparanoia 3-7".
