rubyripper dead?

i know this is not the right place to ask, but the email does not work, google 
says the user does not exist.

So is this an abandonded project? would be really sad, since there are zero 
alternatives in linux...

I rather call it sleeping. There are still commits being made in an effort to 
refactor some code to allow future changes. But one has to set priorities and 
my priority is finishing my study. In a few months I plan to restart active 
involvement since - after all - there are still a lot of users of the program ;)

Excellent news 

As stated above there is no alternative in linux. Apart from that there is a 
need for a ripping program for linux that is as acceptable (in terms of 
generated logs etc) in the "ripping circles" as eac.
