Kernel panic on server side #109

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connecting to VPN
2. Trying to ping/mount it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Kernel panic from my server

What version of Tunnelblick are you using? On what version of OS X? PPC or 
Intel?
Tunnelblick version 3.0b16 on a PowerBook G4 PPC

Please provide any additional information below.
The VPN does work fine with the Windows client, but when on my Mac, it makes my 
server crash 
with a kernel panic.

I can't get a log file of the kernel panic, if anyone knows how, it might help?

Please try Tunnelblick version 3.0b10, which you can download from
http://code.google.com/p/tunnelblick/downloads/list
It has an earlier version of OpenVPN.

And can you provide some details about the server? OS, OpenVPN version, etc.

Should of specified details of my server, sorry. My server is running Gentoo 
with 
kernel 2.6.29-gentoo-r5 with OpenVPN 2.1_rc15 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.

On my Mac, I can connect fine, then I open a terminal, ping to 10.8.0.1 
(server), 
then on my server's screen I see the kernel panic. [165.209962] Kernel panic - 
not 
syncing: Fatal exception in interrupt.

Is it possible it's because I don't have a certain module or something?

Apparently resolved by reinstalling the OS and OpenVPN on the server.

Not a Tunnelblick problem.
