Release 3.0b22 does NOT work on Snow Leopard under the 64-bit kernel

Release 3.0b22 does NOT work on Snow Leopard under the 64-bit kernel.

r233 apparently works, but the release doesn't. I don't see anything relevant 
that changed between 
r233 and r246 (the release), but I'll double check. Maybe I botched the 
creation of the release?

Tester retried and it worked. Original person with a problem restarted and it 
worked.

I think I have a theory on what happened.

Does TUnnelblick unload the kernel extensions when it quits? If not here's what 
I 
think happened.

* User was connected using older Tunnelblick
* User quits older Tunnelblick to update
* At this point, I believe old kexts are still loaded.
* User installs new version
* User launches new version
* User tries to connect, Tunnelblick sees different version of kext loaded, 
fails.

Yes, that's exactly what happened to the tester, and probably what happened to 
the original poster in the 
Discussion Group.
