Pushed nameservers and domains not updating on mac client. #146

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Installed Tunnelblick 3.0b26 on OSX 10.5 or machine upgraded to 10.6.
2.Set Endian Firewall server to push domains and nameservers to client.
3.Connect with client from macs, nameserver and domain information do not
change.

What is the expected output?

Once connected, nameservers and search domains should change on the client
machine. (In fact, if you install a fresh OSX 10.6 system onto any of the
test machines, you do see the the nameservers and search domains change
when you connect through the VPN.)

What do you see instead?

Nameservers and search domains have not changed.

What version of Tunnelblick are you using? On what version of OS X? PPC or
Intel?

All Intel based macs. I have tried all of the Tunnelblick client versions
with OSX 10.5.6, OSX 10.5.7 and OSX 10.5.8. Same results. I even tried it
on my MacBook Pro after upgrading to 10.6.2 and it still did not work.

If I take one of the same Intel based macs and install a fresh copy of
10.6.2 on them and then install Tunnelblick 3.0b22 or 3.0b24 3.0b26 on it
it works correctly and the nameserver and search domains are passed to the
client for the duration of the VPN connction?

Please provide any additional information below. It is often helpful to
include your configuration file and the contents of the OpenVPN Log window,
but remember to remove any sensitive information such as IP addresses.

Should it be working properly with OSX 10.5? Is there a permissions issue?

My understanding is that Tunnelblick does not support search domains pushed
from the
server. It only supports DNS and WINS, on 10.4 through 10.6, and (I am less
sure of
this) only when the "Set DNS" and "Monitor connections are both checked.
