Xee crashing when trying to open some jpg files

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opening certain jpg photo files in Finder.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Display image.  What happens: Xee immediately quits and a window 
opens asking whether to Ignore, Report or, Reopen.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Xee version 2.2   &   OS X 10.8.3

Please provide any additional information below.
This behaviour has only just made itself apparent (Xee has worked flawlessly 
until now) and it is impossible to predict which photo files Xee will have a 
problem opening but the problem is consistent with regard to particular files; 
if a jpg causes a crash it always causes a crash and if a jpg opens without a 
problem then it always opens okay. The problem photo files all open okay in the 
other image-handling applications I have available.

I am attaching a crash report and also one of the offending jpeg files.

Development has ended on the 2.x versions. 3.0 is rewritten and unlikely to 
have the same bugs, so test with that first.
