What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have a folder with big 3MP JPEGs (e.g. from a DSLR camera)
2. Browse and view through images in folder with Xee.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Spinner or TV Noise effect is very often to see.
When compared to Preview. Preview is much faster.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Xee 3.1.1
OS X 10.8.5
Macbook Air Mid 2013 Core i7

Suggestions:
How about an option (as default) to load at least the next few images and maybe
the last previous in front to memory. Maybe also an option to specify how much
memory Xee is allowed to do this. It would be very cool if this works for fast
drives like internal harddrives and external ones but not for CD-ROMs/DVDs or
USB-Sticks or network drives.

It should also work for fast network drives. Some sort of AI to detect how fast
an image is loaded to decide if the next ones are also loaded would be cool.
And loading the current selected image should be always prio 1
