Different colours in Preview and Xee3 #406

First of all, if you have any Haxies, InputManagers, SIMBL plugins or
similar operating system hacks installed, please remove them first, restart
the program, and make sure the bug is reproducible without them.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download the test image for black level from http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/
2. Open it with Preview.app
3. Open it with Xee3 app

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Please find the screenshot:

As you can see there is nothing close between both viewers.
Probably Xee3 doesn't use colour profiling of the system or something like
that.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.3 (32) OS X 10.9.1

Please provide any additional information below.

Xee3 is paid version.

Xee does use colour profiling, but something strange is going on with that
image. I can see the difference too, but the first time I loaded the image in
Preview, it was first shown identical to Xee, and then a second later changed
to look like your screenshot.

There's something strange going on there that I will have to investigate.

This is weird. I finally had some time to go investigate this, but now I can't
reproduce it any more. Preview and Xee seem to be identical, and Preview no
longer does the weird switch.

Do you still have this problem?

It seems perhaps in last release (?) I did replace the file in Applications
several times the problem is gone away!
Thanks!

Weird. I'm going to blame Apple for this one and say they fixed it with one of
the updates.
