IE 8 Compatibility #100

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Google Earth Plugin in IE8 on XP Pro SP2
2.

What is the expected output or behavior? What do you see instead?
It "loads", then shows white instead of Google Earth.

Which plugin version are you using?
Latest.

Which browsers and operating systems are affected?
IE8 with XP Pro SP2. Haven't tried anything else. Works fine if you open 
up devloper tools and set browser mode to IE 7 (Not compatability mode).

Please provide any additional information (code snippets/links) below.

We may not officially support IE8 until it leaves beta. If this changes, we'll 
update
this bug.
