What should this feature enhancement do?
The feature will allow , for instance, flash application to use
ExternalInterface Api to query the plugin application domain that the
current key is registered to. This allows more robust security for other
web services to verify the source of the running script.
It also allows some automation in data requests.
Are there any currently known workarounds that produce the same, or
similar, result?
I have no real control on the distribution of hybrid applications which tie
together many sources of information.
With the ability to query the earth plugin for its registered application
domain, I can prevent abuse of the services.
