Status bar: Option to show Altitude in metric, Position coordinates in UTM #86

It'd be nice if there were an option to display Altitude in
meters/kilometers, and position (left side of the status bar) in UTM format.

Utilities to translate to/from UTM would be nice too.

It could also be useful if Google Earth accepted UTM natively rather than 
having to
use a conversion utility as mentioned above.
