What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. iPhone 2G using 3.2.1. Want to jailbreak/unlock on Mac PB/iTunes 9/Pwnage.
Done many
times before successfully.
2. When connected, phone would not go into DFU despite many attempts using
different timings.
3. Read on a Forum to upgrade to latest firmware in iTunes then DFU then
jailbreak/unlock.
4. Phone failed upgrade in iTunes 9.
5. Now iTunes shows a connected 'iPhone' under Devices but says, 'phone not
recognized and
cannot be activated. Find your your nearest store. iPhone has 'connect to
iTunes' on lockscreen
and only permits slide for emergency.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.2.1 Mac OSX 10.5.8

Please provide any additional information below.
