I have the "same" Problem sometimes after standby.
Or the program didn't provide any sound (Which is the most times after standby.
It is
connected to the "provider", dials, it rings at the other end, but nobody can
hear
the other one). Restart "Telephone" and it works fine.
Maybe a "reconnect after standby" option will fix this. Just an idea; i have no
clue
about the things behind it. :-)

Telephone 0.14.3 (23)
MacBook 13" Late2008 Unibody
OSX 10.6.3
Standard config. (2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, ...)
"Provider": fritz.box 7170 (WLAN Router www.avm.de)

btw: thank you very much for this program and happy easter! :-)
Greetings,
Rootgar

rootgar, do you have STUN server set up in Telephone? Do you have any problems
with the audio without STUN?
If it works fine without STUN, you could leave it that way. I guess, your audio
issue can happen when your
external IP address changes, but Telephone doesn't know about it.

No STUN server in "telephone".
But "telephone" is not connected directly to the ISP, it connects in the LAN to
the
router and the router is connected to the ISP. The router also serves my ISDN
phone.
The router is such an "all-in-one wlan-voip-isdn-pstn-fax-coffee-whatever"
thingy :-D
i read in another thread that the fritz.box didn't provide the correct(?) codec
"sometimes".
"telephone" connects always with iLBC-30 and the connections from the isdn
phone are
G.711.(?)
I will try to figure it out, and have a look into the log files when the problem
comes up.

Have a nice weekend! :-)
greetings,
Rootgar

Try clearing out the "Outbound Proxy" field under the Network settings, this
fixed it
for me.

Hmm, I have the same issue as payanimal. I set up the account info exactly as
chilote.orellana but get the same 404 error.

Not using a STUN server.

I have a similar issue as pskdesign/payanimal. My VoIP service is an internal
MIT service. Identical settings in X-Lite work fine. I just get the 404 when
attempting to sign in with Telephone. Attached are screenshots of settings
dialogs.
