cannot extract the tar.gz #6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download the file
2. Attempt to open/extract it
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should see the extracted content, instead I get this:
gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest on this site. Attempted on Zorin 6 & on Backtrack 5R2

Please provide any additional information below.

update...
I was able to extract in terminal (tar -xvf [filename])

Yes, the download is tarred but not zipped. The file has been named 
incorrectly.

you can extract the file with (tar -cxvf) in the new TrueCrack release 2.0
