Dark mode / Dark Theme #22

Hi there!

Amazing, amazing data field app.

I wonder if it is possible to get the app to work in dark mode, as it is shown in the app's page on Garmin Connect.

It used the watch settings. Just change the background color of your running activity in your watch.

I don't see such an option on my FR55.

Nevertheless I could fork and make it work. Of course this is not desired. Any possibility to add it in settings?

Might not be supported on FR55 then. If it is, it should be something like Settings > Activities & Apps > Run (or whichever activity) > Run settings > Scroll down to Background color

Yes, no background color option there..

Overriding it by a setting of Dark Theme can resolve it for the FR55 (and other low devices I assume).

I would appreciate it if this is something you can consider incorporating in the settings menu.
