Live View does not work with Nikon D4 and D800

1. When the live view button is pressed the screen stays black and 
dslrdashboard does not react anymore.

2. When you activate live view after start up it works but does not react 
anymore after taking a picture

Nexus 7 (2013) with Android 4.4, dslrdashboard 0.30.30, connection via USB

Same issue here. I think it has something to do with the Kitkat-Update as it 
was working fine with Android 4.3 on both my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 (2013). The 
runtime VM is still Dalvik, also tried with ART. I have created a video 
documenting this.

Logcat does not generate any output apparently.

Hello, I can report the same issue. 
Used devices: D800 + NEXUS7 (2013) with Android 4.4. 
Soon I activate the live view, the application 'hangs', no reaction. You've to 
kill it.
Since I really like the DSLRdashboard, I downgraded back to N7 factory 
settings, which is Android 4.3. 
And .... no problems anymore. Works perfect, same on my ACER A700 with v 4.1.
Hope this KitKat issue can be fixed soon. Good luck!

Same problem with DDB 30.30 Android 4.4 Nexus 7 v 2013 D4 connected via TP Link 
3040 v2 router. DDB worked perfectly with Android 4.3. Not so much with 4.4. I 
can connect to the router and live view initially works but on first shutter 
release (doesn't seem to matter how DDB triggers the shutter, swipe or button 
press) DDB crashes. I sent the crash reports but not sure if there is anything 
there which is of much use.

Hi, I´ve the same issue with my Nikon D800. Connection works perfect with USB 
and with the TP Link. After exposure the system is freezing and I need to close 
the app. Yesterday it worked for some sessions perfect, but today it´s a 
nightmare. Because I really like this app it would be wonderful if this issue 
could be resolved.

Hi. I hope that this is an appropriate post for this forum. In another forum 
Zoltan posted a link to a different version of the OpenCV manager as a possible 
solution to the live view problem. I uninstalled the current version of OpenCV 
Manager and installed the version of OpenCV Manager that Zoltan suggested. It 
works as best as I can tell. I have not been able to test it extensively but 
the crashes stopped immediately and DDB resumed to work as expected. The file 
can be found by clicking on "Downloads" above and searching "current downloads" 
for the the following "OpenCV_2.4.6_Manager_2.9_armv7a-neon." That should take 
you to the file where it can be downloaded. One suggestion, do not allow Google 
to automatically update the apps. A newer version of OpenCV Manager is 
available in Google Play but the same problems reoccurred when the newer 
version of OpenCV Manager was installed. I hope that Zoltan can update the app 
to accommodate the newer version of OpenCV Manager, if this is the root cause 
of the problem. As noted above this is truly a wonderful app.

Sorry for late answer, it's my fault not seeing there where more open issues.

The latest version contains the OpenCv libraries so no need for OpenCv Manager 
anymore if you only used it with DD.
