Move project to GitHub #487

I am not sure if this project will continue to be maintained. It may make sense 
to move this project to GitHub to make it easier for more contributors to get 
involved.

The open-source 2.* branch is no longer being worked on by me. If anyone else 
feels like moving it there to continue development they are free to do so, but 
the code is quite antiquated by now so I doubt anyone will be that interested.
