Need to merge master into this before it can be accepted. Is there still interest in getting this in?

I'd like to convert to angular-material design after putting down a tag on the final Bootstrap version of the site.

All of the uses of col-md-12 should be removed. Bootstrap defaults to col-sm-12 so these col-md-12's will have no effect.
