Inspiration

Facing numerous issues in school or college, We decided to understand what was going on. We found out that either management does not know what the problem is or are too constrained to work on the problem. So we decided to provide a platform for students to give their unbiased feedback on problems they faced. If our product is imposed by the government on institutes, the quality of education will drastically improve.

What it does

We take feedback for various aspects of the institute from registered students of that particular institute and run it through our machine learning program for sentiment analysis. That data is stored in our server for any type of data analysis to determine the problems faced by students across any/all institutes.

Challenges you ran into

  1. Since our goal was to get data out, our first challenge was figuring out how we would get to know the problems in a single or multiple institutes. Feedback forms would be an option but would get very limited data. So we decided to let the students tell us whatever they want to. We would run it through a sentiment analyzer and with a lot of data, we can figure out the problems.
  2. Errors, lots and lots of errors.

Anything else?

This project is far from being perfect. We need to provide security and bigger datasets for the model to train and analyze sentiments more effectively. A lot of UI improvements can also be made.
