New IWDC 2019 website's hero section is not sizing up vertically to 100% #11

This is possibly due to the fact that I'm using a spare laptop and I'm building the website under Windows vs my regular Linux environment. There's a bunch of CSS rules which are present on the Linux compiled sites (IWD 2018, Valley DevFest 2018), and those are not present anywhere in the source. I suspect maybe they are picked up by the SASS compiler from somewhere else.

Once I have the Linux laptop back I should try to remove the workaround section
